And besides, in business like this, it is expected that some service providers are taking advantage because they are aware that the people are willing to pay the price to avail this latest technology of phone systems.

There is another alternative in paying extra fees to use a software phone. Simply sign up with a web based voice over IP company. With these companies, you are free to use the service that they provide any way that you want to. You can avail a VoIP router to connect to their service with a regular phone if you are willing to. Or if you are interested to connect via a USB phone its alright with them, or if you want a software phone they will allow you to download one for free or purchase one with extra features from absolutely any company that you would like. In this case, they absolutely give freedom to their costumers.

In this life, we say, knowledge is power. Before getting stuck in an agreement that is not in your best interest or doesn't make you feel comfortable, do a lot of researches first. Remember, customer is always right! Nobody will force you to purchase if you are not willing to. Don't be afraid to voice out what you want to do. Don't be easily deceived by advertisements. Not all campaigns are true. It is easy to get confused with new technologies, if you do your tasks to meet your expectations, you will definitely find the best deal for you!
